We are excited to announce Chantel Sparrow as the Get Fit w/ UrbanKick Challenge winner. She won 6-months of free training with UrbanKick!
In the spirit of the Biggest Loser ™ and Extreme Makeover ™ Weight Loss Edition, UrbanKick conducted a local search for candidates for: The Get Fit with UrbanKick Challenge, a healthy fitness transformation and weight loss challenge. The Biggest Loser ™ and Extreme Makeover ™ Weight Loss Edition, assign personal trainers to the contestant who undergo several hours of intense exercise every day. Those shows, while entertaining and inspirational, are for the most part unrealistic. Very few people can spend several hours a day dedicated entirely to exercise. We live regular lives – work, go to school, raise families and sometimes make it to the gym.
Throughout the 6-month challenge I will show that with the right approach, training and attitude anyone can transform his or her body for life. This challenge isn't a shortcut to drop a lot of weight quickly just to look good. This is about transformation; feeling good, improving health and your quality of life. With the UrbanKick approach the changes will be gradual, healthy, realistic and most importantly--sustainable. The program will include personal training, health coaching, goal setting with S.M.A.R.T goals, boot camp classes and nutritional guidance.
Witnessing transformative change in my clients is what I’m passionate about. Chantel came to UrbanKick with a positive attitude and a willingness to make changes. She has committed to 6 months of comprehensive fitness training and working out the UrbanKick way.
We will track Chantel's progress, workouts, successes and challenges as she kicks her training into high gear. You can follow along with Chantel's challenge by checking out the UrbanKick blog, website and Facebook page. When we see someone make positive changes in their lives, we become inspired because we see that it IS possible. We hope that with an open and honest view into Chantel's training, her journey will inspire others to make lasting changes in their own lives.
